Description
The development of the 2022 national seismic hazard model for New Zealand was led by GNS Science (Gerstenberger et al. 2022) who converted the model into OpenQuake (OQ) engine format. The 2022 GNS model covers the North, South, and Stewart Islands.
A previous version (v2010.0.0) was used for the release of the 2018 and 2023 Global Earthquake and Hazard and Risk Maps and can be obtained at the following link: https://www.gns.cri.nz/data-and-resources/2010-national-seismic-hazard-model/
