Media update: New global earthquake hazard, risk, liquefaction and carbon resources now available

The Global Earthquake Model (GEM) Foundation has made four new global resources available following their release at GEM Conference 2026 in Zagreb on 23 June. Together, they provide an updated view of earthquake hazard, potential impacts on buildings and communities, road exposure to ground shaking and liquefaction, and the carbon consequences of post-earthquake reconstruction.
