South America Hazard

Overview

South America is part of GEM's Global Earthquake Hazard and Risk Maps released to the public in December 2018. As part of the mosaic, the seismic hazard, exposure and vulnerability models employed in the calculations were either provided by national institutions, or developed within the scope of regional programs, bilateral collaborations, or by GEM.
