Martina has been a Seismic Risk Modeller at the Global Earthquake Model (GEM) Foundation since 2023. In 2022, she obtained a Ph.D. in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology from the University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) in Pavia, Italy. Her primary area of expertise revolves around assessing the environmental impact of earthquakes on building stocks and developing comprehensive retrofitting strategies to enhance seismic resilience and energy efficiency. Additionally, at GEM, she plays a key role in maintaining the Global Risk Model, with a particular focus on European countries.
