Ben Wyss is currently working on the development of the open source web mapping interface for the OpenGEM system. From 2007 till 2009 Ben collaborated with WAPMERR and The Swiss Federal Institute for Technology Zurich (ETHZ) on the development of the QLARM loss tool, he developed an open source web GIS application using Mapserver and contributing in the database development. In 2007 Ben received a post graduate degree in GIS from Northern Arizona University. In 2003 Ben collaborated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees GIS Unit. Ben Wyss earned a B.S. in Environmental Planning from Northern Arizona University in 2003.
