Nine proposals have been received in response to the recent Hazard Requests for Proposals (RfPs). Following a preliminary check by the Scientific Board these proposals are now going to be subjected to international peer review. Evaluation results are expected by autumn this year. The GEM Outreach Meeting, held 8-10 June 2009 in Schloss Hohenkammer (Germany) brought together 130 key stakeholders (both public and private) and distinguished experts from over 40 countries. GEM has released five Requests for Proposals (RfPs) for the Hazard Global Components of GEM with a total budget of €1.9 Million Euro. GEM anticipates that proposals are submitted by international consortia. The deadline for submitting a proposal is 15th July 2009. Click here for the five RfPs and a document explaining the rules. |
