Marco Pagani at NIED hazard symposium

A  joint symposium on Seismic Hazard Assessment organised by NIED has been successfully held in Sendai, Japan, from 17-19 June. Scientists from China, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, United States, Vietnam attended the meeting where the latest researches on strong ground motion modelling, results of project 'Probabilisti Seismic Hazard Assessment Issues on the island arc of Japan and Taiwan' and of the Japan-China-Korea Cooperative Research Project 'Seismic Hazard Assessment for the next generation Map' have been presented and discussed. GEM hazard scientist Marco Pagani shared the latest developments on the community tools for probabilistic seismic hazard assessment and modeling.
