GEM1

The GEM1 pilot project ran from January 2009 til March 2010 and was carried out through a collaboration between 5 insititutions [ETHZ, Eucentre, GFZ, NORSAR and USGS]. It served to develop GEM's initial IT infrastructure and generate GEM's first products, but also to lay a foundation for further developments.

Technical Reports
The efforts of the team involved in the project have led to a proof-of-concept of GEM in the form of global hazard and risk calculations and to a series of technical reports, summarizing the achievements of the project. The reports can be downloaded from this page.
